Craig Parker is delightfully evil as Darken Rahl in the Legend of the seeker. From early in the series when Darken Rahl kills one of his Generals while thanking him for his years of service with a smile on his face. Craig shows us that this character has no remorse and his evil has no limits. I don’t know if I can say one way or the other whether Darken Rahl or Lord Voldemort is more evil. Yet Craig gives us a performance that that is spellbinding, when it easily could have become cliche. Where Lord Voldemort abandoned his charm…

Craig Horner is the perfect fit for the role of Richard Cypher in the Legend of the Seeker Series. He delivers the kind of performance that makes his character truly come alive. As you watch the series he deftly takes his character from the innocent wood cutter to the seasoned warrior all the while endearing the character to its audience. There is never any doubt whether or not Richard Cypher will do the right thing, but there is no hint of insincerity in his performance. From the moment he first meets Kahlan, to his torture by Denna, and his decision…

Terry Goodkind the Author of the Sword of Truth Book Series was kind enough to post his spice soup recipe for his fans. By ALLIE TOWNSEND | @Allie_Townsend | May 28, 2010 | 30 inShare1 After two seasons of do or end-of-the-world plot lines, ABC’s Legend of the Seeker is at an end. Oh Seeker, we hardly knew ye. (I’d also like to preface this post with a proper NERD ALERT.) The series finale, aired in syndication last Saturday, wraps up our Stone of Tears story arch with a death, a confession and the Keeper incarnate. While I realize that the show’s producers didn’t have the final word on whether Seeker would see a third season at the time they finished the final episode of season two, I can’t help but feel so disappointed. In…

One night I was browsing Netflix and in my top 10 recommendations was The Legend of the Seeker. I read the summary and thought it might be interesting, beside I had work to do and if nothing else it would be background noise. Well right from the opening frame, the music, the majestic mountains, the two women racing on horse back I was intrigued. Then the one woman (Dennee) calls out to the other (Kahlan) and she lowers herself towards the horse and in slow motion an arrow narrowly misses the top of her head. Most shows would have had…
